Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
Reception. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.
IMPORTANT - IF YOU REQUESTED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS on arrival at the hotel you will have your booking made but the guide of your trip will normally not arrive until the start of the included activities. YOUR TIME BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS THEREFORE FREE. At your hotel they can help you with all the information you need.
NB: The schedules you will find in this itinerary are approximate. The guide, depending on the situation and in order to improve the development of the circuit, may adjust the schedules.
Landscape : Very pretty scenery following the Rhine and Moselle valleys. Very beautiful villages are scattered along the way.
08.00 hrs - Frankfurt -departure. Today we will see the Rhine and the Moselle valleys. Two rivers charged with history and sprinkled with charming villages.
09.00 hrs - Rudesheim am Rhein. - We reach the Rhine at this picturesque mediaeval village full of tourist and commercial life. After some time to stroll, we board a boat to take a CRUISE ALONG THE RHINE of around two hours. We find ourselves in the prettiest sector of the river: fortresses, mediaeval villages, ancient churches, vineyards on the hillsides. Arrival at ST. GOAR and continuation along small roads travelling towards the Moselle Valley.
12:15hrs - Cochem - Arrival- We are now in one of the prettiest villages of the valley. Time for lunch and to take a stroll.
14:15 hrs.- Cochem –Departure-
15.45 hrs- Bonn , Arrival. We are in the former capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, an elegant city on the Rhine known for its music. With our guide we will visit the exterior of Beethoven´s house where the composer was born and see the bronze statue in front of the cathedral that has been made in his honor.
16.45 hrs- Bonn- Departure.
17:30 hrs - Cologne -Arrival. Time for a stroll in the busy streets of the centre and to see its grandiose cathedral.
19:30 hrs - Cologne. Departure for our hotel in Dusseldorf.
20:30 hrs - Dusseldorf. Arrival. We are in the centre of Germany’s most industrial region.
Note : On dates with trade fairs or congresses, accommodation may be given in a nearby city.
08.00hrs - Departure for the centre of Dusseldorf were we will have time to stroll in this city on the banks of the Rhine, where you will be surprised not only by a pretty historic quarter, but also by its avant-garde architecture in which many of the best architects in the world have been represented.
10.00 hrs - Dusseldorf- Departure
11.00 hrs - Zollverein. Arrival at one of the most important points of the “European route of industrial heritage”; we visit its coal mine industrial complex , now declared World Heritage.
13.00 hrs - Zollverein. Departure
15:45hrs - Hamlin -Arrival. We are in a typical city made popular by the story of the Pied Piper… we will enjoy the city remembering the tale written by the Bros Grimm and following in the footsteps of the mice. Time to stroll.
17:30 hrs - Hamlin -departure.
18.30 hrs - Hanover -Arrival. A stroll in the centre before going to our hotel.
Note: On dates when there are trade fairs or congresses, the accommodation may be in a nearby town.
Scenery: The scenery in the Goslar and Quedlinburg area is very beautiful; Hartz mountains, little villages.
08:00 hrs. - Hannover - Departure -.
09:30 hrs. - Goslar - Arrival -. A town declared UNESCO World Heritage, one of the prettiest towns in Germany with its historic houses and its Market Square. Time for a stroll.
11.15 hrs. -Goslar -departure-. We continue our route through one of the most beautiful areas of Germany.
12.00 hrs- Quedlinburg- arrival. UNESCO declared this city a World Heritage Site due to its fascinating historic center, which has survived almost unscathed for centuries with its more than 2100 half-timbered houses. Also noteworthy are the town hall and the castle. Free time for a stroll and lunch.
14.15 hrs- Quedlinburg departure. We travel to the capital of Germany.
17.00 hrs. -Berlin -Arrival. Free time.
Countryside: Pleasant hills in the south of Denmark. Large plains in Germany.
NB: We recommend you enjoy the ferry crossing. Have some warm clothes to hand if you want to stroll on deck. -
Morning free.
11:30 hrs - Berlin –Departure-. We travel towards the north of Germany. Around 15.00hrs, we come to the port of Rostock where we will board a ferry (normally leaving at around 15:30hrs) for an almost two-hour crossing to Denmark. - A very modern and pleasant ferry (shops, cafeterias, exchange booths, leisure offer).
At around 17:30hrs Arrival in Denmark and continuation to
20.00 hrs - Copenhagen –Arrival.
7:30.- Panoramic city tour of the Danish capital with a local guide. Copenhagen is the largest Scandinavian city, and full of contrasts: the popular Tivoli, Christianborg Palace, the terraces of Nyhavn, the Mermaid... The city tour finishes around 10:30. Free time during the afternoon.
Countryside: Forests, lakes, Scandinavian scenery.
07:30hrs - Copenhagen –Departure-.
08:15 hrs - Helsingor i n Denmark. A brief stop in Helsingor, the city of Hamlet, in which its great KRONBORG CASTLE stands out. A chance to take photographs from outside before getting on a small ferry that will take us to Sweden . A crossing of around 20 minutes. Arrival in Sweden (expected at around 9:30hrs). On board, we can change currency and buy Swedish kroner. - We continue on our route amidst pretty forest scenery and great lakes. -
12:30 hrs- Jonkoping – A provincial capital on the shores of Lake Vättern, a stroll through its elegant centre and to see its churches. Time for lunch.
14.00hrs - Jonkoping –Departure-.
18.00 hrs - Mariefred – A stop in this idyllic and picturesque town with its ancient streets, its palace in the lake and its sports marina. Time to stroll.
19.15 hrs - Mariefred –Departure-.
20.30hrs - Stockholm –Arrival-.
Free time. We advise taking a walk through the centre and seeing the museum island. In the afternoon, we offer visitors an optional visit to the Town Hall and the Royal Ship Vasa.
Note: Remember that check-out time is usually at 10.00 hrs. In most cases, you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception at check-out time so you can enjoy the city and pick it up at the time you require that same day. If you need more time to use your room, please consider booking an additional night at the end of your tour.
